James Egozi is a professional racing driver competing in single-seater championships across Europe. He races for Sainteloc Racing in Formula Regional European, his third series in as many seasons after campaigns in Italian and Spanish Formula 4. His rating of 4,416 places him among established professionals at the start of his career.[1]
Egozi began racing in 2023 with 19 starts in Italian F4 for PHM Racing. He moved to Spanish F4 the following year with Campos Racing, a established team that has fielded over a hundred drivers including generational talent Lando Norris; there he took three podiums and finished sixth in the championship standings across a full season. He has now progressed to Formula Regional European in 2025, a field mixing amateurs with semi-professional and graded professionals in single-class competition.[2]
In Spanish F4, Egozi regularly finished ahead of Griffin Peebles, an established professional and FIA Silver-graded driver who won the 2025 Le Mans Cup LMP3 Pro/Am and has raced across the European Le Mans Series and Asian Le Mans Series. He also outran Matteo Quintarelli, an entry-level professional, on a consistent basis. Among stronger opposition, he has beaten Arvid Lindblad, an elite professional and Platinum-graded driver with Formula 2 and Formula 3 experience across 27 starts each, as well as Hiyu Yamakoshi, an established professional who has raced at Formula 3 level. Recent headlines from 2026 reference a championship lead in Eurocup-3 and a race win at Portimรฃo.
