Toni Branca was a Swiss racing driver who competed in Formula 1 during the early World Championship era. He made three starts between 1950 and 1951, all in privately entered Maseratis, without scoring points or finishing on a podium. His final start came in 1951, when he finished twentieth. His racing career, supported financially by a Belgian patron, was brief and confined to the formative years of the world championship when the field was substantially smaller and the sport still establishing itself.[1]

Branca's record places him among semi-professional drivers of the period who competed at the sport's highest level without establishing themselves as regular contenders. He shared machinery with the Maserati marque that would go on to field some of the era's strongest drivers, notably Juan Fangio, but his own results did not translate into sustained involvement in the championship. His average finishing position of tenth across classified races reflects participation in a competitive field rather than consistent competitiveness at the front, typical of drivers who made occasional appearances in early Formula 1 without progressing to regular seats or championship success.[2]
