🇨🇳 Franky Cheng

Franky Cheng is a retired professional driver who raced single-seat formula cars and endurance machinery across a career spanning 2008 to 2015. He made 15 starts in the Formula 3 Euro Series for RC Motorsport in 2008, a single appearance at Formula 3 Macau that same year, and two endurance starts in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie between 2014 and 2015, where he shared a GT3 car in the SP 9 class for Audi race experience.[1]

His most significant indexed racing came in the Formula 3 Euro Series, where he competed in a field that ranged from amateurs to graded professionals. There he finished ahead of Nico Hülkenberg and Daniel Ricciardo, both of whom went on to become elite professionals with lengthy Formula 1 careers. His endurance results placed him 35th in the 2015 Nürburgring standings. Against the drivers he faced most regularly in that series, he typically finished behind established professional Renger van der Zande but ran closely matched with Jens Klingmann, another established professional.[2]
