James Sharpe Adam was a professional racing in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, a national multiclass endurance championship in which modified production cars and GT3 machinery share the track across 15 classes. He raced for Walkenhorst Motorsport powered by Dunlop in SP 6, SP 8 and SP 9 machinery between 2013 and 2016.[1]
Over four starts in the series Adam took one win and two podiums. His most notable result came against Takamitsu Matsui, the 2016 Super GT GT300 champion; Adam finished ahead of him in a shared-car race where both were driving for their respective teams. He also beat Nico Bastian, a professional who has since raced GT World Challenge Europe and the Nürburgring 24 Hours alongside his campaign in the Langstrecken-Serie.[2]
