Joey Iest is an entry-level professional stock car racer competing part-time in ARCA Menards West for Shockwave Marine Suspension Seating, run by Mike Naake. He has also made starts in ARCA Menards East and the national ARCA Menards Series, racing Ford Fusion stock cars on a schedule split between ovals and occasional road or street courses across six seasons from 2020 to 2026.[1]

Iest has taken one win and seven podiums across 45 starts, with his sole victory coming in ARCA Menards West. His best finish in national-level ARCA was 34th in points in 2022 after a single start; a full-season campaign in ARCA Menards West has produced most of his racing and results, where he finished second or better in six of 32 races. A regular in that series, he runs closely matched with Todd Souza, an entry-level professional at the same level, and typically finishes ahead of Takuma Koga, a semi-professional competitor with substantially more experience across ARCA's three tiers.[2]

Iest has beaten established professionals on occasion; he finished ahead of Jesse Love, a two-time ARCA Menards West champion who went on to win ARCA's national series and has since competed in NASCAR Xfinity, in four meetings across both series. He has also outfinished Parker Retzlaff, an established professional with 135 NASCAR Xfinity starts, seven times, though these remain single results within a much larger body of racing where stronger competition typically prevails. His racing remains concentrated in ARCA Menards West, where most of his podium finishes have come.
