Jon McClintock is a semi-professional racing in national American single-seater and sports racer championships. He competes primarily in SCCA Regionals and SCCA Majors, driving Spec Racer Ford sports racers in the SRF3 class, and has recently joined Round 3 Racing in the Zenith Racing Series, where he races a prototype in multiclass endurance competition.[1]

Over four seasons from 2023 onwards, McClintock has assembled a record of 4 wins and 17 podiums from 69 starts across SCCA Regionals, SCCA Majors, the SCCA Runoffs and Zenith Racing. His most consistent success has come in SCCA Regionals, where he has taken 2 wins and 8 podiums across 38 starts; he added 2 wins and 5 podiums in 22 starts at SCCA Majors. In his current 2026 campaign with Round 3 Racing in Zenith Racing, he has taken 2 podiums so far from 8 rounds raced and sits tenth in the championship standings.[2]

McClintock races in mixed fields of amateurs and professionals. He has usually finished ahead of developing driver Paul Goudy, a regular opponent with over 70 SCCA starts, and runs closely matched with club-level driver Tom Burt, who has made more than 150 starts across SCCA series and the Runoffs. He has finished ahead of established professional Linus Lundqvist, a former Indy NXT champion, and bronze-graded professional Eric Powell once each.
