Stewart Lines is a retired British touring car driver who competed in the BTCC from 2015 to 2017, accumulating 75 starts across three seasons without recording a win or podium finish. His average finishing position of 22nd reflects a career spent in the middle and lower reaches of the grid against a field of established professionals and champions. Lines raced primarily for Team Parker Racing with Maximum Motorsport during this period.[1]

Throughout his BTCC tenure, Lines competed regularly against multiple championship-winning drivers. He faced Colin Turkington, a Gold-graded professional and one-time champion, in 54 races and finished ahead of him once. Against Andrew Jordan, Gordon Shedden, and Jason Plato, all former champions, Lines finished ahead of each on only three to four occasions across 50+ shared races, establishing a heavily lopsided head-to-head record. He also encountered several other strong professionals, including Adam Morgan and Jake Hill, both substantially more competitive throughout their careers. On rare occasions, Lines finished ahead of drivers of considerable standing; he beat Ash Sutton, a four-time champion, four times across their meetings, though this represents isolated results rather than a pattern of competitive equality.[2]

His racing career ended in 2017. Lines last competed in the BTCC that year, finishing 31st in the championship across 15 rounds, and has since retired from active competition.
