Jack Goff is a retired British touring car driver who competed in the BTCC for seven seasons from 2015 to 2021, amassing 207 starts with 5 wins and 20 podiums for Team HARD. with Autobrite Direct. He had previously established himself in junior single-seater racing, winning the 2012 Renault Clio Cup United Kingdom championship before making his BTCC debut in 2013. His career in the championship spanned multiple teams, including Eurotech Racing during 2017 and 2018 in a Honda Civic Type R.[1]
Goff operated as a mid-field driver in one of British motorsport's most competitive grids, competing regularly against some of the strongest touring car talents of his generation. Over 165 shared races with Colin Turkington, a Gold-graded former champion, Goff finished behind him 124 times, reflecting the gap between them. He similarly struggled in head-to-head records against other front-runners such as Tom Ingram and Josh Cook, both professional-level drivers with significantly higher ratings. His competitive record against Aiden Moffat proved more balanced, with slightly more wins than losses in 159 shared encounters. His average finishing position of P11.8 across classified starts placed him in the lower half of the BTCC field, though he did occasionally beat drivers of genuine calibre, including 46 finishes ahead of four-time champion Ash Sutton and 53 ahead of Silver-graded former champion Jake Hill.[2]
Goff's form declined in his final season, 2021, yielding just one podium finish across 30 rounds as he slipped to seventeenth in the championship standings. He has since retired from professional racing.
