Tyler McQuarrie is a professional, FIA Silver graded, racing in shared-car endurance championships in the United States. He drives a BMW M4 GT4 for BimmerWorld in the GT4 America Pro-Am class, where he has spent the majority of his career since 2023. Between 2016 and 2022 he raced the IMSA Pilot Challenge GS class in production-based sports cars for CarBahn with Peregrine Racing.[1]
McQuarrie has won two national championships: the 2023 GT4 America title and the 2019 IMSA Pilot Challenge title. His record across both series spans 86 starts, with seven wins and 29 podiums. In GT4 America alone he has four wins and sixteen podiums from 43 starts. He took a single start in the IMSA WeatherTech championship in 2021 driving a GT3 car and finished 32nd in points; his only other series appearance was one start in the ARCA Menards Series in 2016.[2]
The drivers McQuarrie meets regularly in GT4 America and IMSA Pilot Challenge include Trent Hindman, a Gold graded professional who is a two-time IMSA champion, and Gregory Liefooghe, an entry-level professional. McQuarrie runs closely matched with both.
