🏳️ Joshua Mandel

Joshua Mandel was a developing amateur driver who competed in American Endurance Racing between 2016 and 2019, recording nine starts without a victory or podium finish. His rating of 516 places him in the developing band; the level describes consistently competitive participation at club racing, though his results did not build into a stronger career trajectory. He raced against semi-professional and competitive-amateur rivals, typically finishing around ninth across his classified starts.[1]

Mandel competed most regularly against Michael Hurczyn, an FIA Silver graded driver and two-time American Endurance Racing class champion, but lost that head-to-head contest decisively, finishing behind Hurczyn six times to once ahead of him across seven shared races. Against Cody Ace and James Counterman, both American Endurance Racing class champions, Mandel held a 2–4 record in each pairing, showing occasional competitiveness but no pattern of superiority. He finished ahead of Hurczyn once in isolation, and twice each against Ace and Counterman, but these single results against stronger drivers do not establish sustained performance at that level.

Mandel's racing ended in 2019. His four-season career in American Endurance Racing produced no wins, no podiums, and no forward momentum to professional ranks. He remains retired from competition.
