Ky Burke competed as a club-level racer, the rating of 2,030 placing him in the competitive amateur band; this means a driver racing in club and regional fields, quick relative to other self-funded entries but not competing among full professionals. Burke's record on file spans a single season in 2022, with one start recorded in the SKUSA SuperNationals. He finished seventeenth in that outing and did not score a podium or win across his recorded racing.[1]
Burke's entry into that event brought him into contact with drivers of considerably higher calibre. He finished ahead of Daniel Quimby, who would go on to become the 2024 US F4 champion and now rates as an established professional; Nicolas Stati, graded FIA Silver; and Jackson Wolny and Colin Aitken, both competitive amateurs in their own right. That Burke bettered such a field in a single appearance is the most striking facet of his record, though the sample size remains small. His racing concluded in 2022 and he has since retired from competition.
