Nicola Abrusci is a competitive amateur kart racer. In 2015, Abrusci made a single start in the TaG Junior class at the SKUSA SuperNationals, a multiclass national championship run in the United States that draws amateur, semi-professional and professional drivers to the same track.[1]
That single indexed appearance came against a field including established professionals; Abrusci finished ahead of Alessandro Ghiretti, a FIA Gold-graded driver and 2025 Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup champion, and Niklas Kruetten, a FIA Silver-graded professional who won the 2021 European Le Mans Series LMP3 class.[2]
