Brian Faessler is a competitive amateur racing in two national multiclass championships run in the United States. He races a Ford Mustang V8 pony car in NASA's American Iron class and competes in shared-car endurance racing across American Endurance Racing's Class 1, 2 and 3 categories in production-based machinery. Across 15 seasons of indexed racing he has made 55 starts.[1]
Faessler has won 26 races across both series, with 20 of those victories coming in NASA where he has been a consistent front-runner. His 2024 NASA season placed him third in the championship standings after three rounds, with three wins and three podiums from those races. In American Endurance Racing, a multiclass grid that mixes amateur and semi-professional entrants with graded professionals, he has taken six wins and 11 podiums from 25 starts since 2019. His performance in that series has typically placed him behind John Ryan Lewis, a club-level driver and two-time Class 3 champion in the series, and behind Panagioti Theodorakopoulos, a competitive amateur and 2019 Class 3 champion. Faessler has finished ahead of Mike Skeen, a FIA Silver professional and 2020 Trans-Am TA2 champion, twice in shared-car competition, and has beaten Preston Brown, an entry-level professional, on three occasions.[2]
