Simon Eibl was a competitive amateur endurance racing driver competing in German national championships. He raced in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie's VT2 class, driving near-standard turbocharged production cars for Car #494, and made a single appearance in the Nürburgring 24 Hours in the Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport Cup 3 class with KKrämer Racing UG.[1]

Eibl's indexed record spans two seasons from 2020 to 2022, comprising five starts across both series. He took one podium finish in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie. His career was concentrated in the Langstrecken-Serie, where he completed four starts in 2020; his sole outing at the Nürburgring 24 Hours came in 2022.[2]

In the Langstrecken-Serie he regularly faced Christopher Rink and Philipp Stahlschmidt, both entry-level professionals with multiple class championships and substantially more experience at the venue. Eibl typically finished behind both. He did finish ahead of Luca Engstler, a Gold-graded professional with extensive single-seater and touring car experience, on two occasions, and beat Ranko Mijatovic, an entry-level professional and multiple Langstrecken-Serie champion, once across their meetings in the series.
