Marcel Lasee is an entry-level professional who raced in single-seater and multiclass endurance competitions across two decades. His indexed career spans 13 starts from 2003 to 2022. In single-seaters, he competed in Formula 3 Euro Series with Swiss Racing Team in 2003. He later moved to endurance racing, joining Subaru Tecnica International for starts in the national German multiclass championships Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie and Nürburgring 24 Hours, driving turbocharged production-based cars in the SP 3T class.[1]
Lasee's Formula 3 Euro Series campaign comprised seven starts in a field mixing amateurs with graded professionals. His endurance record includes five starts across the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie in 2013 and 2014, followed by a single appearance at the 2022 Nürburgring 24 Hours. Over his endurance career he raced against and finished ahead of Robert Kubica, the established professional and multiple champion in Formula V8 3.5, European Le Mans Series, and WEC, on three occasions, and against Maro Engel, the FIA Platinum graded professional and 2024 GT World Challenge Europe champion, twice. Kubica and Olivier Pla, both established professionals with extensive WEC and international sportscar racing credentials, were regular opponents; Lasee was closely matched with them across their meetings.[2]
