🇨🇭 Harold Primat

Harold Primat is a professional-rated driver who raced across single-seater and endurance categories over a twelve-year career. He competed in the Formula 3 Euro Series as a solo driver for Saulnier Racing in 2003, then moved into multiclass endurance racing; he drove modified production cars and GT3 machinery in the national Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie from 2011 to 2015, and contested the World Endurance Championship in 2012 driving an LMP1 prototype for Rebellion Racing.[1]

Primat made 29 starts across the three series, taking two podiums, both in the Nürburgring series. His WEC campaign in 2012 brought him to fifth in the championship standings across eight rounds. His most regular opposition came from established professionals: he typically finished behind Nicolas Lapierre, the 2016 WEC LMP2 champion and later a two-time WEC title winner, and Markus Winkelhock, a Platinum-graded driver with substantial GT and endurance experience. He finished ahead of Laurens Vanthoor, a Platinum-graded established professional later crowned IMSA and WEC champion, and Maro Engel, another Platinum-graded established professional and 2024 GT World Challenge Europe champion, once each.[2]
