Michael Globe is a club-level amateur racing driver whose rating of 2,063 places him among developing drivers still building competitive experience. His record spans two seasons in the Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup presented by Michelin, a one-make series, where he made 15 starts across 2018 and 2019 without recording a win or podium finish. He averaged a finishing position of P24.1 across classified races, and his final season saw him place P19 across eight rounds.[1]

Globe raced against a field of semi-professional and professional competitors in the Mazda Cup, with rivals including former series champion Nathanial Sparks, FIA Silver-graded drivers Robert Noaker and Robert Stout, and semi-professional regulars such as Selin Rollan. Across 14 shared races with Rollan, Globe finished behind them every time; similarly, he was outpaced consistently by Noaker and Stout in 13 meetings each, and by Sparks across 13 races. His head-to-head record against this competitive field shows a pattern of finishing toward the rear of the grid. Globe did finish ahead of FIA Silver-graded driver Michael Dinan once and ahead of semi-professional Charlie Belluardo once, isolated results against stronger competition rather than evidence of superiority.
