Michael Morris is a developing amateur competitor racing in national-level multiclass sprint championships in the United States. He races a Porsche 944 in NASA's 944 Spec class, a single-driver category shared with amateur and semi-professional opponents. His primary involvement spans from 2004 to the present, with a concentrated run in NASA since 2017.[1]
Across 18 career starts, Morris has taken one win and four podiums. His win came in NASA, where he has made 15 starts over nine seasons and finished 13th in the 2025 championship standings. Early in his racing history he made three starts in BMW CCA Club Racing in 2004, competing in the CM class. Morris typically finishes behind his regular opponents; he has usually trailed Jeremy Pohlman and Shawn Taylor in NASA, both developing drivers with considerably more experience on their own records. He has beaten semi-professional Derrek Morehead once across their NASA meetings and competitive amateur Michael Clark once.[2]
