🏳️ Michael Schneider

Michael Schneider is a retired developing amateur who raced in two multiclass championships. He spent the majority of his career in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, competing in shared-car endurance racing in the Cup 3 and SP 3 classes between 2010 and 2015 with raceunion Teichmann Racing. In 2022 and 2023, he moved to NASA, where he raced solo in the Super Touring 2 class for Rush SR.[1]

Across 36 starts spanning seven years of racing, Schneider took two podium finishes, both in NASA competition. His most substantial period of activity came in the Nürburgring series, where he accumulated 26 starts over six seasons and finished 18th in the 2015 championship standings. His record in the German endurance championship placed him regularly behind established amateur competitors such as Holger Goedicke and Elmar Jurek, the 2012 Cup 3 champion, though he finished ahead of professional drivers Jakub Giermaziak and Max Sandritter on single occasions.[2]

Schneider's NASA results came in a field mixing amateurs with semi-professional and professional drivers. His two podiums represented his only finishes at that level of competition. The bulk of his career was spent in shared endurance racing at amateur and semi-professional pace, where the results of co-drivers contribute to the overall record.
