Michael Schneider is a developing amateur racing in multiclass endurance and sprint championships across Germany and the United States. He spent six seasons in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie between 2010 and 2015, driving Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport and modified production cars for raceunion Teichmann Racing. He returned to racing in 2022 with NASA's Super Touring 2 class, campaigning a closed-wheel car for Rush SR.[1]
Schneider took three podium finishes across 37 starts. His NASA campaign yielded two podiums in ten starts during 2022 and 2023, and a third came in a single SCCA Regionals outing in 2022. His longer tenure in the Nürburgring series produced no podiums across 26 endurance starts over six years, racing against competitive amateurs including Elmar Jurek, the 2012 Cup 3 champion, and Holger Goedicke, regular opponents whom he typically finished behind. He finished ahead of Jakub Giermaziak, a Gold-graded professional and two-time Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie SP 9 Pro champion, once during that span.[2]
