Miguel Ángel Guerra is a retired Argentine racing driver with a single Formula 1 start to his name. In 1981, he qualified for the San Marino Grand Prix at Imola, driving for the small Osella team. On the opening lap, his car was struck by the March of Eliseo Salazar and collected a wall; Guerra sustained a broken wrist and ankle in the accident and did not finish the race, classified in twenty-second position. That one Grand Prix appearance marked the extent of his recorded racing career.[1]

Guerra's sole outing placed him in a field dominated by established professionals and well-funded teams, a context that reflects the reality of his entry into motorsport at the highest level. His performance and brief tenure offer little comparative data against other drivers of the era, and his career was curtailed by injury before any substantial body of work could accumulate. He finished his racing career at the level of Formula 1 backmarkers, a distinction that separates him from the bulk of drivers who never reach the championship series at all, even if his time there was measured in a single lap.[2]
