Oscar Teran is a semi-professional racing in the Trans-Am national multiclass championship. He races the TA class, driving a tube-frame V8 silhouette car for Showtime Motorsports. His career on record consists of a single season in 2021, when he started four races and finished eighth in the TA class championship standings.[1]
Teran's season ran against a field mixing amateurs and semi-professionals with entry-level professionals. He was outpaced regularly by Ernie Francis Jr, a two-time TA champion and Gold-graded driver, but ran closely with Tomy Drissi, a Bronze-graded professional with seventy Trans-Am starts to his name. Teran finished ahead of Cody Ware, a professional with a long NASCAR Cup Series record, once across the season, and beat Adam Andretti, a professional racer with extensive Trans-Am and NASCAR Truck experience, once as well.[2]
