Peter Hegglin is an entry-level professional racing in international multiclass endurance competition. He spent five seasons between 2018 and 2023 racing Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars for FACH AUTO TECH in the 24H Series, a championship that fields amateurs, semi-professionals and graded professionals across eleven classes in the same race. He also made two starts in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup, a single-driver formula, finishing 20th in the championship standings.[1]
Hegglin took one podium finish from his five starts, both of them in endurance racing. His record places him mid-pack against the established professionals he raced most often; he typically finished behind Larry ten Voorde, a three-time Supercup champion with nearly fifty starts in that series, and Huub van Eijndhoven, a professional with substantial experience in Porsche racing and the European Le Mans Series. He did finish ahead of van Eijndhoven and Klaus Rader, a professional racer in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, once each across his indexed career.[2]
