Jeff Streeter was an entry-level professional racing in NASCAR Xfinity, a single-class national stock car championship run on ovals. He made 9 starts across two seasons from 2001 to 2003, finishing 42nd in the final championship standings.[1]
Streeter raced as a part-time competitor in a field mixing amateur and semi-professional entrants with graded professionals. His regular opponents included established professionals with far more extensive NASCAR Xfinity experience; he usually finished behind Ashton Lewis and Jason Keller, both professionals with over two hundred and five hundred starts respectively in the series. He did finish ahead of Jamie McMurray, an established professional and FIA Gold-graded driver who has since raced in NASCAR Cup Series, and Brendan Gaughan, an established professional with runs across Xfinity, Truck, and Cup series.[2]
