🇺🇸 Kevin Grubb

Kevin Grubb was a professional stock car driver who competed in NASCAR Xfinity from 1997 to 2006, running almost exclusively on oval tracks. He drove primarily for Brewco Motorsports during his career.[1]

Grubb contested 174 starts across his nine seasons in the series, accumulating five podium finishes. He finished 42nd in championship points in his final partial season in 2006. His most notable results came against established professionals; he beat IndyCar champion Tony Stewart three times and International Formula 3000 champion Christian Fittipaldi twice in head-to-head competition. Against his regular rivals, Grubb was closely matched with Randy LaJoie, a two-time NASCAR Xfinity champion, though he typically finished behind Jason Keller, a longer-tenured professional in the series.[2]

Grubb raced in a field mixing amateurs and semi-professionals with graded professionals, the latter including drivers who went on to ride out full careers in the discipline. His five podium finishes across a decade of regular starts placed him at the middle tier of a competitive national championship.
