🇮🇹 Pietro Armanni

Pietro Armanni is an Italian driver who competed in junior and professional single-seater racing from 2020 to 2024. He raced primarily in Italian Formula 4 and Formula Regional European, categories aimed at drivers progressing toward international open-wheel competition, before later competing in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup one-make series. Across 45 starts in these championships, Armanni did not record a win or podium finish, and his average finishing position was P22.9, indicating consistent struggles against the field.[1]

Armanni's most substantial experience came in Italian F4, where he completed 24 starts for Iron Lynx over 2020 and 2021 without reaching the podium. Throughout his career he raced against several drivers of considerably higher calibre. Two-time champion Leonardo Fornaroli was a frequent rival across 39 shared races, though Armanni finished ahead of him only once; FIA Silver-rated drivers such as Sebastian Montoya and Joshua Dürksen were similarly dominant, beating him in the vast majority of their head-to-head encounters. Armanni's competitive standing was defined by his record against drivers nearer his own level; he ran roughly even with Nicolas Baptiste and had a modest advantage over Francesco Braschi, both similarly graded Silver professionals. He is now retired from active racing.
