Sebastian Kemper is a retired competitive amateur who raced crewed cars in multiclass endurance championships. He spent most of his career in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, a national German series mixing amateur and professional teams in modified production-based cars, driving for Car Collection Motorsport in the SP 7 class between 2010 and 2014. He made a single international start in the 24H Series in 2017, piloting a GT4 car for Manthey Racing.[1]
Across 16 starts over seven years Kemper took two podiums, both in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie. His final season, in 2014, saw him finish 28th in the championship standings after three rounds. He was a regular competitor at the Nürburgring circuit against a field of semi-professional and professional drivers; he finished level with entry-level professional Andreas Ziegler in their head-to-head meetings but usually finished behind Georg Weiss, a two-time SP 7 champion at the series. Kemper recorded individual finishes ahead of stronger opposition including Stephan Köhler, a professional who won the SP 8 class in three consecutive seasons.[2]
