Göschel is a competitive amateur racing in German national multiclass endurance championships, piloting shared cars in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie and the Nürburgring 24 Hours. He raced BMW one-make cup cars and turbocharged production-based machinery across nine starts in the Langstrecken-Serie between 2014 and 2016 for priconracing BMW, then returned in 2019 for Team Speedline Racing at the 24-hour race.[1]
His single podium came at the Nürburgring 24 Hours in 2019, finishing on the podium in the SP 8T class. In the Langstrecken-Serie, Göschel typically finished ahead of Christian Konnerth, a professional driver who won the V5 class championship in both 2017 and 2018. He also shared results with Mehmet Kaya Mustafa, the 2019 SP 8T champion, in a closely matched head-to-head record. Among the established professionals he raced against were Daniel Abt, an FIA Gold driver with 57 Formula E starts and experience across open-wheel racing, and Franck Perera, an FIA Platinum driver with extensive GT and Formula 3 Euro Series experience; Göschel finished ahead of each on one occasion.[2]
