Steven de Phillippi Connor was a professional endurance racing driver who competed in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, a multiclass championship run at Germany's Nürburgring in which he shared modified production-based race cars and GT3 machinery with co-drivers. He raced for Montaplast by Land-Motorsport, with two starts also coming through Frikadelli Racing Team, an established operation with 28 wins in the index and a roster headlined by established professional Matt Campbell.[1]
Connor's indexed career spans three starts across the 2015 and 2016 seasons. He won once and finished on the podium in all three races, taking the championship as a top-23 finisher in 2016. Among his victories was a finish ahead of Christian Krognes, an established professional and former Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie SP 3T champion with 86 starts in the series, and he also beat Renger van der Zande, a Platinum-graded professional and 2016 IMSA WeatherTech PC champion who had raced across IMSA WeatherTech, Formula 3 Euro Series, and the World Endurance Championship.[2]
