Alessandro Famularo is an entry-level professional racing driver competing in solo single-seater championships across Europe. A Venezuelan driver, he races for BVM Racing in Euroformula Open, a national-level single-class series that fields a mix of amateur, semi-professional and professional competitors. His career spans six seasons from 2018 to the present, with 61 starts across Italian F4, ADAC Formula 4, Formula Regional European, Formula 3, and Euroformula Open.[1]
Famularo won his first race in ADAC Formula 4 in 2019 and took a podium finish the same season. He has since accumulated two wins and four podiums across his career. In Euroformula Open he has shown stronger form; he took a race win and sits with two podiums from twelve starts across the 2025 and 2026 seasons. His results in the higher-profile series have been sparse; he made two starts in the 2022 FIA Formula 3 Championship and three in Formula Regional European in 2021, without scoring. His best championship finish on record came in Italian F4, where he placed twelfth in the 2019 standings after 37 starts.[2]
The drivers he races most often are William Alatalo, a Silver-graded professional with significant experience in Italian F4 and Formula 3, and Gianluca Petecof, a Gold-graded professional with background in Stock Car Pro Series and multiple junior single-seaters; Famularo typically finishes behind both. He has on occasion finished ahead of drivers at a considerably higher level: he beat Isack Hadjar, an elite professional who has raced in Formula 2 and Formula 1, in one meeting, and Gabriel Bortoleto, the 2023 Formula 3 champion and 2024 Formula 2 champion, in three separate races across Formula Regional European and Formula 3.
