Tom Roche is a British endurance racing driver with a Racer Rating of 3,328, placing him in the semi-professional band. This rating reflects a driver operating at the level of professional-level competition in sportscar and endurance racing, typically young or early in their career. He holds an FIA Silver categorisation, which denotes this standing within GT and endurance racing specifically.[1]

Roche's racing record consists of a single season in the 2024 British GT Championship, where he made five starts for Orange Racing by JMH without securing wins or podium finishes. He finished 26th overall in the championship. His average finishing position across all classified starts was 11th. The calibre of his competition included established professionals; he shared races with multiple FIA Platinum-graded drivers including Raffaele Marciello, a three-time GT World Challenge Europe champion, and Dries Vanthoor, a former three-time GT World Challenge Europe champion, finishing ahead of both drivers once each. Against Daniel Harper, the 2023 British GT Championship GT3 champion, Roche secured two top finishes in three shared races. His head-to-head record against other front-running competitors was mixed, most notably trailing Ricky Collard, the 2024 British GT Championship GT3 champion, in all three of their shared races.[2]

Roche has since retired from professional racing. His brief competitive record demonstrates exposure to the upper tier of British GT racing, though results did not translate into podium finishes or sustained progression in the category.
