Tyler Turner competed in American Endurance Racing between 2016 and 2018, accumulating 23 starts across three seasons. He recorded 2 wins and 4 podium finishes, with an average result of sixth place. His Racer Rating of 653 places him among competitive amateurs; this describes a driver who races at club and regional level or at the entry end of professional fields, quick enough to compete regularly but typically against semi-professionals rather than full-time professionals.[1]

Turner's record in endurance racing shows he was competitive within his class but struggled in head-to-head contests against most of his regular rivals. Against John Beam and Jason Nolan, the 2019 American Endurance Racing Class 1 champion, Turner finished ahead in only 2 of 8 shared races.
