Wolfgang Haugg is an entry-level professional racing in multiclass endurance championships. He competes primarily in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, a national championship mixing 15 classes of turbocharged production and production-based cars, where he drives for mathilda racing - Team LAVO Carwash in front-wheel-drive VT2 Front machinery and turbocharged SP 3T cars. He also races the Nürburgring 24 Hours, a multiclass event at the same circuit, and has contested the 24H Series, an international endurance championship that shares grids across multiple countries and classes.[1]

Haugg's career on record spans from 1997, though his indexing begins with three starts in the FIA GT Championship in the early 2000s. His primary sequence has been in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie from 2010 onwards, where he has taken four podiums in nine starts. He also raced the 24H Series in 2018 and 2019, where he won one race in four starts. His most recent activity is the Nürburgring 24 Hours, where he has won one race and taken two podiums so far from three starts; the 2026 season is still in progress and holds his most recent victory.[2]

In the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, Haugg typically finishes ahead of semi-professional Tobias Jung, the 2025 VT2 Front 4WD champion, but behind Michael Paatz, a more experienced semi-professional with 53 starts in that series. Against stronger opposition, he has beaten Yannick Dalmas and Franck Lagorce, both established professionals; Dalmas had competed in Formula 1 and Lagorce was the 1994 International Formula 3000 champion. Haugg's team, mathilda racing - Team LAVO Carwash, won the 2023 Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie VT2 Front championship in the year Haugg drove for them, with their roster including the professional-level driver Jan Marschalkowski across their wider operation.
