Porsche Sprint Challenge North America GT3 Cup is a Porsche one-make sprint series contested in two classes divided by driver experience. The professional class fields seasoned drivers; the masters class is open to amateurs and gentleman racers. The field is entry-level professional, comparable in calibre to International GT; both series serve as stepping stones from club and regional racing into the top tier. Blake McDonald and Kyle Washington lead the current roster. Drivers arrive chiefly from PCA Club Racing and the SCCA Runoffs, moving on most often to GT World Challenge America or its western peer series. The series functions as a training ground where talented amateurs progress toward professional sportscar racing.
