Porsche Sprint Challenge North America is a GT3 Cup series run in two pro-am classes. The 992 P/A class groups professionals and amateurs by driver standing; the 992 M class runs gentleman drivers. Blake McDonald, Reinhold Krahn and Scott Blind lead the field. The series sits in the middle of the North American single-marque ladder, stronger than PCA Club Racing and the SCCA Runoffs but weaker than IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge. Drivers arrive most often from PCA Club Racing, the SCCA Runoffs and NASA; many move up to GT World Challenge America. The series functions as both a stepping stone from club-level racing and a destination for drivers moving laterally within Porsche competition.
