Prototype Cup Germany is an endurance prototype series organised by ADAC and Creventic, contested by shared cars run in a single class. The field comprises a broad mix of professionals and amateurs; most drivers have graded sportscar or endurance experience, though a significant minority have not. Ralf Schumacher headlines a roster of established and developing drivers at professional entry level. The series sits between the 24H Series and Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie below it and Prototype Cup Europe alongside it; it draws drivers from ADAC Formula 4 and peer single-seater championships and serves chiefly as a pathway toward Prototype Cup Europe and other continental prototype racing. Its field is substantially stronger than the lower-tier German endurance series it neighbour, though a little weaker than the single-seater feeder it occasionally recruits from.
