TC is a sprint touring-car series fielding cars in three classes: TCX, TCA, and TC. The field is mixed, with a few professional drivers and a larger amateur base. Dai Yoshihara and Jackson Lee lead the current roster. The series sits in the middle of a ladder that includes IMSA Pilot Challenge above it and Lamborghini Super Trofeo NA below; drivers move to both directions, with some progressing to TGRNA GR Cup North America and Mustang Challenge. The calibre is weaker than the major one-make championships that surround it, making TC a stepping stone for drivers working upward through the amateur ranks.
