Andy Chittum is a club-level driver racing in national amateur and semi-professional multiclass championships in the United States. He competes primarily in NASA, a multiclass series where fifteen classes share the track, driving a spec BMW E30 3-series in the Spec E30 class. He has also raced SCCA Majors and SCCA Regionals in spec Mazda MX-5s and small-bore production tuner cars.[1]

Chittum took 11 wins and 24 podiums across 53 starts in NASA between 2011 and 2019, his primary series. He returned to national racing in 2022, appearing in SCCA Regionals with three starts and in SCCA Majors with eight starts across both Spec MX-5 and STL classes, finishing 18th in the SCCA Regionals championship standings. His total record stands at 66 starts and 11 wins.[2]

In regular NASA competition, Chittum typically finished ahead of Larry Moore, a fellow club-level driver with 63 NASA starts. He was closely matched with Bennett McMicking, another regular opponent who has made 153 NASA starts. He has beaten Sean Quinlan, an entry-level professional who has raced at the IMSA level, ten times across their meetings. Chittum also finished ahead of Thomas Annunziata once; Annunziata went on to win the 2026 ARCA Menards Series championship after racing in Trans-Am TA2 and SCCA Majors.
