Austin Theriault is an American former professional stock car racing driver who also served in the Maine House of Representatives for the 1st district from 2022 to 2024. Before stepping away from full-time competition, he built his reputation in the ARCA Racing Series, where he claimed the championship in 2017 driving for Ken Schrader Racing. That title established him as one of the more accomplished names to emerge from the ARCA ranks during that era, and it opened the door to opportunities at NASCAR's top level.[1]
At the Cup Series level, Theriault's career is recorded as retired, with seven career starts and no wins, podiums, or championships to his name in the series. His Racer Rating stands at 3,618, placing him 623rd among active drivers on the Elo-style scale used by Racer DB, reflecting a limited body of work at NASCAR's premier level relative to the sport's leading competitors. His most recent season on record shows a single round entered with no wins or podiums, resulting in a 52nd-place standing, consistent with the sporadic, part-time nature of his Cup Series involvement. Since stepping back from full-time NASCAR competition, Theriault has continued to compete on a part-time basis in Asphalt Super Late Model racing, most recently piloting the No. 57 Chevrolet Camaro for Mark Henderson Racing.[2]
