Brian Edmonds is a competitive amateur racing in NASA, a national multiclass championship that fields amateurs and semi-professionals alongside graded professionals in the same races. He drives production-based street cars in the PTD class and spec BMW E30s, primarily for BMW 325i, and has been active in the series since 2013.[1]

Edmonds has made 96 starts across 13 seasons and taken 16 wins and 31 podiums. His 2025 season, still in progress, has been his strongest: through six rounds he has won five races and claimed five podiums, placing him ninth in the championship standings. His record shows consistency against the regular competitors he faces most often; he finishes ahead of Scott Gress and Walter Araya, both developing-level drivers with several NASA seasons behind them. He has beaten the occasional stronger driver, including Dan Goldburg, a professional with Bronze grading and international sportscar racing experience, and Andrew Gilbert, an entry-level professional who has raced European Le Mans and Ferrari Challenge.[2]

Edmonds typically runs mid-grid in a field that mixes amateurs, semi-professionals and professional drivers. His team, BMW 325i, has fielded nearly 200 drivers and won 237 races across the index; its top driver, Sean Quinlan, competes at entry-level professional level. Edmonds' recent performances suggest his peak form lies in the sprint rounds where he has contended for wins.
