Charlie Bateman is an entry-level professional racing in international multiclass endurance series. He competes in GT3 machinery, driving for Blackthorn and its variants across the Le Mans Cup, Asian Le Mans Series, Road to Le Mans and British GT Championship between 2023 and 2026. His record spans 15 starts in shared-car racing, where he remains active in the 2026 Road to Le Mans season.[1]
His most regular competition comes in the Le Mans Cup, where he has six starts for Blackthorn, and Road to Le Mans, where he has appeared three times for Ecurie Ecosse Blackthorn. He joined the Asian Le Mans Series in 2025 with four starts for Blackthorn Motorsport and made two British GT Championship appearances in GT3 machinery. The 2026 Road to Le Mans season is still in progress with one round completed so far.[2]
Bateman races in fields mixing amateurs and semi-professionals with graded professionals.
