Courtney Crone is an entry-level professional racing driver competing in a multiclass endurance and sprint field across the United States. She holds an FIA Silver grading, placing her below the full-professional grades but among drivers working toward established standing in sportscar racing. Her primary series is the IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge, where she races for CarBahn Motorsports in both LMP3 prototypes and GT4 cars; she also competes in F1 Academy's single-seater programme with ART Grand Prix as part of the Haas Driver Development Program.[1]

Crone has accumulated 22 starts in the VP Racing series since 2023, taking 11 podiums across her indexed career. She contested F1 Academy from 2024 to 2025 across its three classes, a parallel programme to her sportscar racing. Her earlier career included eleven starts in IMSA Prototype Challenge and eight in Prototype Cup Germany, both in LMP3 machinery. In 2026, she has begun racing in the World Racing League while continuing her VP Racing campaign, where she has already scored multiple podiums including back-to-back finishes at Virginia International Raceway.[2]

In the mixed-ability fields she races, Crone typically finishes ahead of amateur and semi-professional entrants but behind the established graded professionals. She has beaten the 2023 IMSA WeatherTech LMP2 champion and GT World Challenge America Pro-Am champion George Kurtz once in direct competition. Against her regular opponent Dan Goldburg, a professional with extensive IMSA experience across three series, she trails in their head-to-head record but holds five wins against him; with Brian Thienes, another entry-level professional, she runs closely matched. Her most consistent racing has come in the VP Racing series with CarBahn Motorsports, a mid-field team in a field that ranges from club drivers to elite professionals like Kyle Kirkwood.
