Daniel Cara is an entry-level professional racing in national single-seater and multiclass open-wheel championships in the United States. He races for Carรก Origin Motorsports and has competed primarily in US F4, where he spent two seasons; he currently races the Ligier JS F4 Series, a single-class championship, and competes occasionally in the SCCA Majors multiclass series.[1]
His record spans five seasons from 2021 to 2025 across 39 starts. In US F4 he took three podiums over 23 starts and finished sixth in the 2023 championship standings. His most consistent recent form has come in the Ligier JS F4 Series, where he has won once and taken four podiums from 11 starts in 2025. In the SCCA Majors multiclass series he has raced both the FE2 class, running spec Mazda-powered Formula Enterprise cars, and the FX class with assorted winged open-wheel machinery; he won once and took three podiums across four starts in 2023 and 2024.[2]
Cara finishes consistently ahead of semi-professional opposition; he regularly outpaces Tyke Durst, a competitor with substantial US F4 and USF Pro 2000 experience. Against stronger drivers he sits close to the mark. He has raced wheel-to-wheel with Titus Sherlock, the 2025 Formula Regional Americas champion, and regularly finds himself closely matched with him. He has beaten Max Taylor, a 2024 USF Juniors champion with Indy NXT and USF2000 experience, and Bryson Morris, a professional FIA Silver driver and 2021 Lucas Oil Formula Car Race Series champion.
