Michael Costello is an entry-level professional racing driver competing in USF Pro 2000, a single-class national open-wheel championship run in the United States. He races for Turn 3 Motorsport and is in his second season in the series, having progressed through US F4 and USF2000 after early work in multiclass karting. His rating of 3,281 places him among drivers competing regularly in national-level junior open-wheel fields where amateur and semi-professional entrants mix with graded professionals.[1]

Costello has taken five wins across 61 career starts in his five indexed seasons. In US F4 in 2023, he won three races and claimed five podiums from 17 starts while racing for Jay Howard Driver Development, the team that also fielded established professional Christian Rasmussen among 28 drivers on its roster. He moved to USF2000 in 2024, where he scored one win and three podiums in a full season and finished seventh in the championship standings. His current campaign in USF Pro 2000 has yielded one win and five podiums across 27 starts to date, including victories at Indianapolis Raceway Park in May and Mid-Ohio in July.[2]
