Tymek Kucharczyk is a professional racing driver competing in Indy NXT for HMD Motorsports in 2026. He is in his first indexed season of North American single-seater racing, running at a rating of 5,103 across 14 starts in the championship plus a single-race cameo in USF Pro 2000. He races solo open-wheel cars in single-class competition against a field mixing amateurs with established professionals.[1]

Kucharczyk took a win at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in May and has completed seven podium finishes from fourteen Indy NXT rounds so far this season, sitting currently seventeenth in the championship standings as the season continues. He added an eighth podium in his one USF Pro 2000 start. His record shows consistent competitiveness; he has regularly finished ahead of Enzo Fittipaldi, an established professional and 2018 Italian F4 champion with extensive Formula 2 and Formula 3 experience, and once beat Jacob Abel, another established professional with forty-one prior Indy NXT starts. Against his most frequent rivals Hughes and Fittipaldi, he remains closely matched.[2]

The Indy NXT field includes a mix of developing competitors and graded professionals. Kucharczyk places as a mid-pack regular in that company, posting podiums consistently enough to rank among the grid's scoring drivers while remaining outside the championship lead. His breakthrough came on the Indianapolis road course, where he held off experienced opposition for his first win of the season.
