🇺🇸 Danny Efland

Danny Efland is an entry-level professional who raced oval-track stock cars in NASCAR's national series. He competed in NASCAR Xfinity from 2007 to 2013, recording 63 starts for MAKE Motorsports, and ran 8 additional starts in NASCAR Truck in 2013, also for MAKE. His final indexed season came in 2013, when he started six Xfinity rounds and finished 37th in the championship standings.[1]

Across his six-year career, Efland competed against a field that included established and elite professionals alongside semi-professional entrants. He finished ahead of Ryan Blaney, who would go on to become the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series champion, in three meetings, and beat Denny Hamlin, an elite professional with 344 Cup Series starts, on two occasions. However, his regular rivals on the Xfinity circuit included Mike Wallace, a Bronze-graded professional with nearly 500 starts in the series, and Mike Bliss, an entry-level professional; Efland typically finished behind both of them. His most consistent ride came with JD Motorsports, which fielded him for 26 of his 71 starts across both series. Efland has since moved into crew chief and engineering roles, most recently serving as crew chief for Viking Motorsports' entry in the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series.[2]
