He raced for Mach 5 Racecars & Parts and later Blake Hillard Racing during the 2013 and 2014 seasons.[1]
Hillard made seven starts across two seasons, finishing 29th in the 2014 championship standings. He raced entirely on ovals and typically finished behind the regulars in the field, including the 2014 series champion Mason Mitchell and the professional driver Justin Boston. He did finish ahead of Grant Enfinger, a 2015 series champion who went on to race 237 NASCAR Truck Series events, and Kyle Benjamin, a professional with experience across multiple national series.[2]
