Jörg Viebahn is an entry-level professional racing in multiclass endurance championships across Germany and internationally. He drives Porsche GT cars, primarily the 911 GT3 Cup and Cayman GT4 Clubsport, for PROsport Racing in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, the 24H Series, and the Nürburgring 24 Hours, where each car is shared between multiple drivers taking turns over the course of races lasting up to 24 hours.[1]
Viebahn has spent 16 seasons racing in these series since 2010, with 59 starts yielding 10 wins and 26 podiums. His primary base is the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, where he has started 51 times and taken 10 wins and 25 podiums across its 15-class grid. He has also competed in the international 24H Series five times and made three appearances at the Nürburgring 24 Hours, taking a podium finish at the latter in his most recent outing this year.[2]
Viebahn races in fields mixing amateur and semi-professional entrants with graded professionals. He is closely matched against competitive amateur Dieter Weidenbrück in the Langstrecken-Serie, where both are regulars, and generally finishes ahead of club-level driver Eugen Sing. He has finished ahead of established professionals including Platinum-graded Timo Bernhard, a 2016 WEC LMP1 champion, and Sergey Sirotkin, a former Formula 1 driver with 21 Grand Prix starts.
