🇨🇭 Martin Kroll

Martin Kroll is a semi-professional endurance racing driver competing in multiclass championships at the Nürburgring and across Europe. Bronze-graded under FIA classification, he races modified production cars and GT machinery for Hofor Racing by Bonk Motorsport, a team fielding established professionals alongside semi-professional entrants. His primary series are the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie and the 24H Series, in which he shares his car with co-drivers across events lasting up to 24 hours.[1]

Kroll won the 2015 Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie championship, his only title across 15 seasons of indexed racing. In the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie proper he has taken one win and ten additional podiums from 48 starts since 2011, a pattern of consistent mid-field results. His record in the 24H Series, where he began racing in 2018, reads substantially stronger: six wins and nine podiums across 12 starts, establishing him as a regular podium finisher in that multiclass field. He has also started the Nürburgring 24 Hours twice and taken two podiums, most recently in 2024.[2]

Kroll typically finishes behind his regular rivals Richard Gresek and Philipp Gresek, both semi-professional or entry-level professional drivers with similar Nürburgring experience. He has on single occasions finished ahead of Renger van der Zande, an established professional and Platinum-graded former IMSA WeatherTech champion with 121 starts in that series, and Indy Dontje, a Silver-graded established professional with significant IMSA single-seater experience. His win-to-start ratio in the 24H Series stands substantially above his record in the longer Nürburgring championship, where shared-car endurance racing across a larger field presents a different competitive picture.
