Euan McKay is a retired British sportscar racing driver with a single season of GT World Challenge Europe racing in 2020. Graded as FIA Silver, McKay competed at professional level in endurance and GT competition, though his record on track was heavily outmatched by the calibre of drivers and machinery he faced. Across three starts for Team Parker Racing, he finished classified in an average position of 34th, accumulating no podium finishes.[1]
McKay's 2020 season placed him in direct competition with some of the strongest drivers in GT racing. His three rounds saw him line up repeatedly against FIA Platinum-graded professionals including Maro Engel, a championship-winning driver; Sergey Sirotkin; Thomas Preining, another former champion; Miguel Molina, a Platinum-graded champion; and Luca Stolz, all of whom finished ahead of McKay in every shared race. He also raced against Gold-graded professionals such as Jordan Pepper and multiple other accomplished competitors. On isolated occasions McKay managed to out-qualify or position himself ahead of Platinum-graded former champion Albert Costa and Gold-graded driver Julien Andlauer, though these were single-race results against a field where he was consistently outpaced. His Racer Rating of 3,390 reflects a semi-professional driver operating in a top-tier GT championship but unable to establish himself competitively. McKay has not raced since 2020.[2]
