He raced in the FIA GT Championship, a mixed-field endurance series where cars are shared by multiple drivers, and the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, a national multiclass endurance championship in Germany where he drove Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars and modified production-based machinery. His most prominent campaign came in 2006 with the World Touring Car Championship, a solo single-class championship, where he made 20 starts for Wiechers-Sport and finished 22nd in the season standings.[1]

In the World Touring Car Championship he regularly faced established professionals, including multiple-time champion Yvan Muller and Alain Menu, both of whom he typically finished behind. He twice finished ahead of Menu and once ahead of Ho-Pin Tung, a Gold-graded driver who went on to win the 2018 WEC LMP2 championship.
